Two Works by Ayme M Robinson

mass incarceration

Materials: foam, plaster, paint
Size: 3’6” x 3’3”

From Ayme: My mass incarceration sculpture is 17 letters handcrafted by me. The letters have two and three layers, so altogether I made 42 letters. This piece highlights issues that not only affect my community, but all communities. I hope to evoke understanding and create solutions. I personally would like to see minimum sentencing thrown out, better opportunities for employment, mental health programs to help with rehabilitation, and throwing out laws that allow discrimination for future employment. Those are some of my solutions.

the gospel

This piece is about the George Floyd trials.
